Chief

Tom joined the squad in March of 2009 after a 32 year career with the City of Clifton Fire Department.  During his career in Clifton, Tom was involved in dispatching, firefighting, hazardous materials, administration and emergency medical services, and retired at the rank of Deputy Fire Chief. Tom has been a certified Emergency Medical Technician for over 40 years, and started his EMS career as a member of the Nutley Volunteer Emergency & Rescue Squad in 1978.

Serving as Chief of the squad since 2015, Tom has also served as Lieutenant and Captain in our organization.

Tom enjoys the camaraderie of the squad’s membership and is proud of the service that we provide to the community.
